Before joining Tyro in March 2018, Robbie was the Managing Director and CEO of Tatts Group Limited for 5 years. Tatts featured in the ASX top 60 with a market capitalisation of $6.7 billion and held exclusive lotteries, wagering and gaming licences across Australia. This role concluded upon Tatts combining via a scheme of arrangement with its Australian peer, Tabcorp.

Prior to Tatts Robbie served initially as COO, and then as Managing Director and CEO, of Australia’s leading online travel group, Holdings Limited. Wotif’s operational footprint traversed Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and the UK. During his seven years at Wotif, Robbie oversaw the group’s significant scale up from start-up mode, achieving a circa fivefold increase in profits and undertaking a highly successful IPO on the ASX in 2006.

Robbie holds a Bachelor of Law with Honours from the University of Queensland Law School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an associate of the Governance Institute of Australia and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Robbie sits on the advisory board of Five Good Friends an in-home care provider assisting older Australians to live well and independently.
